Essential Yoga is about the entire body, mind and spirit. The goal is complete balance through stretching, bending, breathing and meditation. All welcome.
Gentle Yoga: Mondays, 5:00-6:00 p.m. (in person at Harmony)
Cost: $13 walk-in and special packages for 6-week session available at Harmony.
This gentle yoga class is about taking an hour to nurture yourself and relax.
Classes will focus on conscious breathing, gentle stretching, releasing tension, and relaxing.
Appropriate for all ages and abilities.
No experience necessary

Aparigraha is one of the five Yamas (the universal truths) and one of Patanjali’s Eight Limbs of Yoga Practice. Aparigraha is nonpossessiveness or nonattachment. This Yama is able to liberate us from greed. It can also remind us that clinging to such things as possessions, habits, emotions, the past, expectations, and even people may weigh us down and may make life a heavy and disappointing experience.
Through kriyas and meditations in this series, we will explore various attachments that we may have experienced or are still experiencing. We will explore how this Kundalini Yoga practice may help us free up our time, make the days seem brighter and easier, and improve relationships with not only others but also with ourselves.
Time: Thursdays from 5:15-6:15 p.m.

A flowing class that focuses on stabilizing the core to increase strength and support spinal alignment. A variety of balls will be used for massage to relieve pain associated with muscle tension and stress.
Thursday from 6:45-7:45 p.m. at Harmony
Cost: $13 walk-in and special packages for 6-week session available at Harmony.
The best remedy for stress is relaxation. Taking time to release tension and relax is necessary for healing the effects of stress and living well. This class will help you slow down, relax, and prepare for a restful evening.
When: Fridays at Harmony and on Zoom
Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.
$15 walk-in or $80 per 6-week session

Chair Yoga, considered a gentler form of yoga, uses a chair for additional support. Most of the exercises are done while sitting on, leaning on or holding onto a chair. This makes it a great way to practice yoga for people of all ages and those with limited mobility.

Functional Gentle Yoga Workshop with Kim Collins
