Essential Yoga is about the entire body, mind and spirit. The goal is complete balance through stretching, bending, breathing and meditation. All welcome.

Classes will focus on conscious breathing, gentle stretching, releasing tension, and relaxing.

Kundalini Yoga classes are one hour and fifteen minutes and encompass a pranayama (breath work), a warm-up, a kriya (set of asanas), relaxation with the healing vibrations of the gong, and concludes with a meditation. This is a hybrid class: in-person and remotely via Zoom.
All of us need to heal. Healing may be challenging and it seldom happens on a straight path. But we need to remember there are always opportunities to heal. We need to keep our hearts and minds open for the unimaginable.

A flowing class that focuses on stabilizing the core to increase strength and support spinal alignment. A variety of balls will be used for massage to relieve pain associated with muscle tension and stress.
Thursday from 6:45-7:45 p.m. at Harmony
Cost: $13 walk-in and special packages for 6-week session available at Harmony.
The best remedy for stress is relaxation. Taking time to release tension and relax is necessary for healing the effects of stress and living well. This class will help you slow down, relax, and prepare for a restful evening.
When: Fridays
11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon.
Cost: $15 per individual class, $80 for one class per 6-week session

Hatha Yoga incorporates gentle stretches with conscious breathing and relaxation techniques to create a body-mind-spirit experience. The vast benefits of yoga include increased flexibility, strength, balance, focus and improved sense of well-being. People of all ages, backgrounds and abilities can do yoga.

Chair Yoga, considered a gentler form of yoga, uses a chair for additional support. Most of the exercises are done while sitting on, leaning on or holding onto a chair. This makes it a great way to practice yoga for people of all ages and those with limited mobility.
