Commitment: The First Step to Happiness

December 11: The Heart of Practice

December 18: The Gift and Power of Silence

Kundalini Yoga is open to all levels of students. This brief two-session series is perfect for those who are interested in or curious about this style of yoga. The purpose of Kundalini Yoga is to achieve our higher

consciousness and true identity. The practice is transformative for those who want to be transformed.

This two-session series focuses on “sadhana” – a spiritual practice. Sadhana is a process to refine human awareness, burn off old patterns, and clean out the subconscious. Sadhana is a discipline that moves us toward cosmic consciousness and helps to fulfill the destiny and potential of our soul.

During this special topic two-week series, we will practice two kriyas (series of exercises) and two meditations that can easily be put into a daily individual sadhana at home. Yogi Bhajan said that the first

step to happiness is commitment.

Next Session:

New Year/New Decade/New Kundalini Yoga Series
“Activating & Aligning the Glandular System: One Gateway to Bliss”

Our glandular system, also known as the endocrine system, is the guardian of our health. When our glands are secreting at optimal functioning, we are healthy, strong, and vital.

Kundalini Yoga is a positive way to keep the glandular system tuned up. This yoga practice balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, and enables us to harness the energy of the mind and the emotions so we can be in control of ourselves, rather than being controlled by our thoughts and feelings. Our achievement in life is based on our glandular secretion.

In this new year, commitment to this series will “turn up the wattage” and begin to allow us to live big and shine bright! As we connect to our human birthright, we have the ability to reach our higher consciousness and manifest our goals.

January 8th: The Glands of the Lower Chakras
January 15th: The Thymus Gland (4th Chakra)
January 22nd : The Thyroid Gland (5th Chakra)
January 29th : The Pituitary Gland (6th Chakra)
February 5th : The Pineal Gland (7th Chakra)
February 12th: Putting It All Together (a review)

Yoga Bhajan

“Just as all rivers end in the ocean, all yoga ends up raising the kundalini.
What is the kundalini?  It is the creative potential of the human being.”
