Astrology is the study of planetary alignment and its effects on our individual personalities as well as world events. This workshop introduces the 12 signs of the zodiac along with their elementary influences and the power each planet brings to the human experience. You will also learn how to read your own natal chart.
This workshop is focused on the 12 houses of the zodiacal wheel and the aspects of luminaries, planets and other elements of the natal chart. We will explore the axis of the 12 signs and take a closer look at your natal chart to reveal more deeply your life lessons, challenges and opportunities for growth, evolution and healing.
Kate has been studying astrology for more than thirty years. She started in 1991 with Sue Lovett, a Toledo treasure, and has advanced her studies with various teachers including Adam Elenbaas and Robert Ohotto. With a deep interest in how our natal chart reflects our individual life lessons and soul journey, Kate integrates a host of modalities to bring to life the practice in ways that are both practical and heart-opening. Energy Anatomy is the study of the human chakra system. Closely linked to the brain, central nervous system, and our emotional body, chakras contain electromagnetic energy that in turn creates our individual and collective realities. As complex as this may sound, this workshop will provide a clear overview of each of the seven main chakras and their influence in your daily life. We will practice gentle yoga poses suitable for everyone that will activate and balance the chakra energies.
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a yoga mat. Handouts will be emailed to you upon registration.
