In the next six-week yoga series beginning on September 14, we will focus on the throat chakra. As our center of expression and willpower, the throat is also the gateway to the upper chakras. We will work with poses that encourage awareness, mindfulness, and the ability to practice in a way that works best for you.

New Kundalini Yoga Series
“Meditation”
September16 – October 21, 2026 (5 sessions)
Wednesdays 5:30 – 6:45p
Meditation: a formal practice which helps us train the mind to be more aware and present.
Are we sleepwalking through life on automatic pilot? Meditation may help us stop this pattern. And guess what? Anyone can meditate. It is not some special place or state. All anyone has to do is, just do it! Do not judge it, just do the practice.
But meditation may be a brave thing to do. We have to be willing to be alone with yourselves. We have to let ourselves be quiet and still. We need to realize that our thoughts may not be our reality.
During this series, we will depart from the usual kundalini yoga structure. We will be doing only meditations each session; no kriyas. This is an excellent opportunity for new students who would like to learn or improve a meditation practice.
