Words from a Yoga Nidra Workshop attendee:
Yoga Nidra is a special time for me to set my intention, to surrender my entire body and let go. I can feel my body sinking into a deep level of relaxation during the practice. I awaken to a tranquil self.
Important Instructions: This workshop is being offered live-streamed only. That means you will be doing the Yoga Nidra session at home. Please set up ahead of the scheduled time in a quiet space, relatively free of distractions and be wearing comfortable, loose-fitting clothes. The preferred position is lying on your back on the floor. You should have a pillow for your head that allows your chin to be parallel to the floor, a blanket to cover up (as your body temperature will probably drop), and perhaps a bolster or cushion behind your knees to relieve any pressure on the lower back. Alternatively, you may lie on your side or sit in a chair.
What is important is that you are comfortable in whatever position you choose and that you are able to be in relative stillness for the entire session.
You will receive an email with the link once you register for this session. Please log- in prior to the start time so you will be ready to begin at 6:30 p.m.
